These are the Offical Rules of FnaticScape Forums and Server

Staff Impersonation
This is considered the most heinous form of Rulebreaking. Any individual who directly, or indirectly, impersonates a Staff member will be immediately Ip-banned and/or Banned. Resetting of all accounts will be considered as well. This includes implication, direct statement, threats, and/or attempting to make accounts similiar to Staff names. Directly following our Staff Disclaimer, our Team decides the severity of the accusation and whether or not the person truely impersonated a Staff member. We will in no way tolerate this and do not take Staff impersonation lightly. We consider it a major breach of Server security and is almost always associated with breaking other Rules.

Player Rights (Pertaining to Staff Disclaimer)
ALL PLAYERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW THE IDENTITY OF THE PUNISHING STAFF MEMBER. THIS IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A PROPER APPEAL. ALL PLAYERS ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHICH RULE WAS BROKEN WHEN THEY WERE PUNISHED. THIS DOES NOT GIVE PLAYERS THE RIGHT OF ACCESS TO EVIDENCE, BUT ENSURES A PROPER INVESTIGATION CAN BE PRODUCED IN THE CASE OF A DISPUTE.




General Board


FnaticScape is aimed at a general audience. This means our site is designed for 13 year olds and older. Everything must be aimed at this age and older. Explicit references, vulgar language, and so forth is not allowed.

Do not Mini-Mod. Staff Members are chosen to enforce these Rules. We greatly encourage members to use the Report Button, but not to add their own criticism. Any player who assists our Staff Team without directly enforcing these Rules is regarded as a prime member of our Community.

All publicly displayed messages are only limited to English. This includes posts, titles, signatures, profiles and other forms of public display. Though we acknowledge the varieties of nationalities, languages, and religions that our players bring with them, we must use a standard form of communication. Considering the fact that a large majority speak English, we only condone this language in-game and on the Forums.


Warning System


Members who disobey the rules will be warned or properly punished, depending on the views of the punishing Staff Member. Our Staff does not base punishments on anything but the offense that was reported.

Members can be warned a maximum of three times. Our Staff Members do not have to warn at all, but when a maximum of three has been reached, Staff is required to step to a higher punishment, whether they want to or not.

Most warnings stay with you, but due to the large inflow of punishments, Staff may waive the warning and set you on a clean slate. This is not guaranteed, so do not try and take advantage of it.


Forum Regulations

1. Offensive language is not allowed. We encourage good behavior and ethics. A more serious punishment is applied to those who attempt and/or succeed in bypassing our content filters.


2. Treat all players positively and with respect. Flaming other members will lead to a warning, infraction, or possibly even a ban.


3. Topics must be submitted to the relevant forums. Please read the forum descriptions before posting.


4. Topic titles must have an appropriate description.
Allowed:
An example for a good description is "Help needed with game".
Disallowed:
An example for a wrong description is "HEEEEELP!".


5. Bumping is allowed, provided that the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. The thread starter is only allowed to bump a topic once per page.
Allowed:
A topic discusses a news event. The topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around. A reply with such information that is relevant and useful is allowed.
Disallowed:
Bumping topics continuously to get them up to the first few pages.


6. Also use the Edit Button when altering your reply if you're the last to post in the topic. Do not double post.


7. Content of posts should not be explicit, offensive, shocking, or include discussions containing pervasive subjects. This may be waived if the topic is for educational purposes. Whether the topic is educational or not shall be decided officially by a Staff member, rather than the thread starter.
Disallowed:
Hacking, fraud, drug related, porn and political/religious discussions


8. No topic hijacking (going off topic).


9. All topic titles must be relevant to the topic being posted. Using unusual topic titles simply for the sake of attention are not permitted.
Example:
Words/phrases such as but not limited to:
**** MUST HAVE****, L@@K, LATEST, NEWEST, LOOK HERE, *Newest Version*
or other words along these lines including symbols.


10. Excessively replying to your own topics to gain first page exposure is not allowed. This is in violation with the bumping rule.


11. Replies such as:
'You're welcome', 'no problem', 'thanks for replies' or similar
are only allowed a maximum of twice per page. This rule only applies to posts made on or after April 16th, 2008.


12. Members are allowed to make a huge topic with an index on first thread only if all the download links are posted in the same thread as posts/replies.


13. Members are allowed to double or triple post only if their previous post has exceeded the maximum characters limit. If it can be fit into one post, it must be made as one post.


14. Members are not allowed to post referral links or ad links. This includes links that other users click to sign-up for a site, resulting in the thread starter, or referrer, making free commission off every user who signs up using that referrers "referral link". Any questions regarding this may be directed to Techengage.


15. Any foreign download links are not allowed on these Forums. If a user posts a download link, whether it be Staff approved or not, it will be deleted and the user infracted. Any further breaches of this rule will result in an immediate, and permanent, ban.


16. Members are not allowed to post in a thread that has not been replied to within fourteen(14) days of a post. This is gravedigging and can result in an infraction.


17. Moderator requests are not accepted. All Staff promotions are made by the Server Owner or Co-owner only.

18. Do not encourage others to break Rules. This includes telling someone to use a glitch/bug, or asking a Staff member to ban someone because of a disagreement.

Spam Rules

Excessive posting of similar messages to increase post count is not allowed.
The following one-liner messages are classified as spam:

- Any acronym such as lol, lmao, wtf, etc
- The use of +1...+X within posts.
- The use of an emote only reply (such as ).
- The use of "mtsmtsmts" in conjunction with another unallowed message.
- Posting topics regarding post count ("just got 300 posts!", etc)

These are only guidelines. They are not strictly limited to just these examples.


Private Messaging:
All Forum Regulations apply in regard to private messaging.


Avatars and Signatures:
All Forum Regulations apply to avatars and signatures.
